After the 12th day at work, life is good again.
Had a super fun night out with some amazing friends last night. A visit from an old college buddy that I FINALLY went snowboarding with. Might be going riding at Kicking Horse tomorrow for the first time! Life is definitely good again.

Only an hour left of work and then off for Christmas dinner at a very special friend’s house. I haven’t spent time with those guys in ages, so really loking forward to chilling out with them. Last night was “family dinner” with the roomies and it was perfect. I’m going to milk tonight for all I can and put tomorrow’s 12 hour shift out of mind.

Now starting work at 9:00am tomorrow instead of noon. What the fuck is wrong with me?
I have spent all morning writing a strongly worded letter of resignation in my head.
I will never have the balls to actually type this up.
I am pretty sure I work for the devil and at some point have signed away my soul.

Today my 9 shifts in a row turned into 12.
With one of these extra shifts being a 12 hour day.
Does anybody else think that it is utter bullshit that I am the only employee in the company working Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and also New Years Eve and New Years Day????

Another 12 hour day. Was meant to be finished work at 6:00 today, only found out thismorning that I was needed to work and extra 4 hours.
I probably would not have stayed out drinking with friends until 5:00am had I known.

Nearly 3 hours of work into my first day of 9 days in a row… only 9 more hours to go.
Working at our Fairmont location today… always kind of feels like I am being punnished when they schedule me here.

I thought I was being clever by booking a super early bus back to Banff to make it back for my noon shift at work, and still allow me to have some extra time with my family.
Arrive at bus station at 2:30am to be told that the bus is already full despite the fact that I have paid for a ticket to be on that bus.

Trying to convince friends with cars to take a road trip to Kicking Horse tomorrow! I had fun snowboarding at Lake Louise today, but I want to step it up a bit and explore new mountains. Crossing my fingers I am persuasive enough :)
I haven't taken a photo in over two weeks.
It feels weird and I miss the summer days of photo adventures with Aaron.
